COACHING

All junior netball teams need a coach, and we are constantly on the lookout for new coaches.  Coaches provide a safe and fun environment for their players to learn, which helps them to extend their skills, develop game sense/awareness, team work and most importantly, their love of the game.

Coaches at Yarra are required to complete the Foundation Coaching Course (for beginner coaches, teachers and parents) which outlines the introductory coaching information and basic netball techniques.

​

We also encourage our coaches to complete the Development Coaching Course to further their netball knowledge and to develop their players' skill progression, fault detection and correction.
