Yarra Netball Association
Small in size - big on reputation

Green Band Initiative - protecting our young umpires and fostering respect in netball.
Please help us in maintaining a safe, supportive and respectful environment for all members of our netball community especially
our young umpires. If they're wearing green, they're under 18 and deserve your respect and empathy whilst officiating.
We currently have 9 new trainee umpires (under 18 years)
on court - please be supportive as they embark on
the beginning of their umpiring journey.
Our next intake of trainee umpires will commence in Term 3.

Uniforms
With the cooler mornings setting in, team members are reminded that they are allowed to wear a long-sleeved t-shirt or skivvy under their netball uniform. However, it is important that everyone wears the same colour - everyone wears black, everyone wears white, everyone wears navy blue. The choice is yours as a team, but consistency is key.

Spring Season
Registrations will open in mid-late June for the Spring season (August - November). Current Team Managers and Club Secretaries will be advised when entries are open. If you are a new team, please contact us via admin@yarranetball.org.au

Love the Game
On Monday May 19, we will proudly be supporting the
Love the Game round, an important initiative aimed at
promoting responsible attitudes toward sport and gambling.
The campaign encourages our netball community to
'Love the Game, Not the Odds,' by raising awareness among
young people about the risks associated with sports betting.
This round serves as a timely reminder that the enjoyment of
sport does not need to be linked with gambling. So, when it’s game time, get out there, play hard but most of all, make it fun with your teammates.
